Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Barbosa (ranked 756 p4p, 2456 weight class) and Jeff Fafa (ranked 85 p4p, 247 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Fafa!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Barbosa closes the distance and pushes Fafa back into the cage.

Fafa wants to get back to striking at distance but Barbosa won't allow it.
Barbosa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fafa tries to land a front kick but Barbosa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Barbosa lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Fafa has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fafa there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Jeff Fafa has been cut.
Barbosa tries to close the distance and clinch but Fafa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fafa looks to land a right hand but Barbosa moved out of range.
Fafa lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Barbosa backs up against the cage.

Fafa tries to bum rush Barbosa with a series of wild strikes but Barbosa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Barbosa bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fafa's head.
Fafa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barbosa circles away quickly and effectively.

A jab-cross combination lands for Barbosa and sends Fafa crashing to the mat! Barbosa follows him down to the mat - Fafa regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

That has opened up Jeff Fafa's cut even more.
Barbosa loads up on a big left hand. Fafa felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Barbosa looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Fafa can't hide his disappointment, as Barbosa celebrates the victory.
