Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan Hradek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Big Dog Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hradek closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard.
Hradek trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hradek is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hradek is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hradek! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hradek taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Big Dog Gracie!
Big Dog Gracie very nearly forgot to thank Brooklyn Apothecary amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
