Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luigi Bonifacio !
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonifacio throws a poor cross that misses
and Victor counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Victor is trying to control the action in half guard but Bonifacio is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Still in half guard, Victor seems content to control.
Bonifacio told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
