Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Coyle (ranked 2750 p4p, 5116 weight class) and Fedor Petrov (ranked 327 p4p, 519 weight class). Petrov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. They want too see me fall kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fedor Petrov has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Coyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Petrov! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coyle drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Petrov is wriggling around but Coyle manages to pass to half guard.
Coyle controlling the action here. Coyle not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Coyle lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Coyle content to control rather than advance. Coyle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coyle lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coyle is nestled in close to Petrov, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Petrov tries to get to full guard but Coyle has control of the leg. Well, if Coyle is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Petrov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Petrov scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Coyle manages to mount him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coyle takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Coyle putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Coyle controlling from the full mount. Coyle working Petrov over with strikes here. Petrov is trying to reverse the position but instead Coyle has taken his back - oops! Coyle is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Petrov has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrov tries to escape the position.
Coyle has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Petrov has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Petrov is trying to get back to his feet but Coyle has full control of the position and if anything, Petrov has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coyle is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Petrov is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Petrov is really stuck here.
Coyle biding his time, looking for the opening.
Petrov wants to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Coyle has managed to slip his arm under Petrov's chin. This could be all over... yep, Petrov is tapping out! Submission win for Coyle.
