The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boudreaux takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Boudreaux shoots in but no luck this time.
Boudreaux closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hooper circles away.
Boudreaux drops Hooper with a right and a left! Boudreaux comes rushing in but Hooper regains his composure and manages to keep Boudreaux in guard.
Hooper is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Boudreaux forces his way into half guard.

Hooper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Boudreaux in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hooper tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Boudreaux!
