Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xi Li (ranked 2057 p4p, 2591 weight class) and Ogre Toshin (ranked 245 p4p, 306 weight class). Li comes to the cage accompanied by HYFR by Drake featuring Lil Wayne. Toshin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Death Squad. Xi Li has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ogre Toshin!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li moves out of range of the leg kick from Toshin.
Toshin is looking to score with low kicks.
Toshin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Li slaps away a takedown attempt from Toshin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Toshin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Xi Li has been cut.
Li moves to clinch but Toshin breaks away
and Toshin counters with a straight right hand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Toshin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Li drops back looking for a leg! Toshin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Toshin manages to kick Li off! Li jumps back into Toshin's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Li is standing up over Toshin. Toshin looks to escape but Li dives into side control.

Toshin is looking to get back to his feet here but Li is keeping cool and he's managed to take Toshin's back.

Toshin is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Li manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Xi Li!
