Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith slips a straight right by Carter.
Carter with a jab.
Carter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smith.
Carter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Carter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Smith is looking to clinch but Carter is avoiding it.
Carter lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Smith misses with a combination
and Carter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Smith throws a left and a right that both miss
and Carter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Jayson Smith has been cut.
Carter is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Carter connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carter chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Smith doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Carter scores with a counter punch that sends Smith to the canvas! Carter smells blood - he's punishing Smith with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Smith has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

In his post fight interview, Michael Carter started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
