Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abduwali Hassan!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hassan misses with a right hand
and Barbosa counters with a three punch combo that has Hassan backing up. Hassan nods at Barbosa to acknowledge the strikes.
Barbosa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hassan manages to avoid it.
Hassan loads up on a big right hand but Barbosa slips the punch.
Barbosa throwing a counter right hand but Hassan manages to avoid it.
Barbosa throws out a loose jab but Hassan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hassan misses with a lunging right hand
and Barbosa counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hassan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Barbosa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hassan has time to react.
Hassan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hassan throws a body shot but no joy.
Barbosa throwing a counter right hand but Hassan manages to avoid it.
Hassan throws a big shot that misses.
Barbosa just misses with a punch to the body.

It looked like Barbosa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Barbosa lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Hassan head around and knocks him out cold! Barbosa hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
