Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kona Uluwehi (ranked 3245 p4p, 5105 weight class) and Johnny Legsweep (ranked 407 p4p, 523 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kona Uluwehi has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kona Uluwehi seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kona Uluwehi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Legsweep!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legsweep looks to land a right hand but Uluwehi moved out of range.
Uluwehi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Legsweep shoots in but no luck this time.
Legsweep showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Uluwehi.
Legsweep changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Legsweep tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Uluwehi defends well and Legsweep ends up having to push Uluwehi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Uluwehi checks a low kick from Legsweep.
Uluwehi scores with a one two! Legsweep had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Johnny Legsweep has been cut.
Nice takedown defense from Uluwehi. No joy for Legsweep on that attempt.
Kona Uluwehi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Legsweep.
Legsweep shoots in but no luck this time.
Uluwehi misses with a wild combination.
Legsweep throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Legsweep throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Uluwehi's waist but Uluwehi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Legsweep off to one side.
Legsweep shoots in looking for a takedown. Uluwehi tries to sprawl out of it but Legsweep keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Uluwehi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Uluwehi connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Legsweep! He's out on his feet! Uluwehi rushes in and drops Legsweep with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kona Uluwehi!
Kona Uluwehi is the new welterweight champion!
