Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaikura Camara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phil Rivers!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rivers works the jab nicely.
Camara darts in trying to clinch
and Rivers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rivers swinging wildly here.
Camara connects with a solid leg kick.
Camara tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rivers was well out of range. Poor timing from Camara.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big right from Rivers misses.
Camara wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Camara tries to clinch but Rivers is having none of it.
Rivers throws a low kick, looking for Camara's leg but Camara calmly moves out of range.
Camara is looking to counter the offense by Rivers and move into the clinch.
Camara tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rivers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Camara misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Camara lands with a slapping head kick.
Rivers misses with a straight left.
Camara is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Rivers.
Rivers has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kaikura Camara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Camara throws a head kick but Rivers moves out of range.
Camara ducks under a wild hook from Rivers.
Camara seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Camara jabs at Rivers's body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rivers darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rivers's jab looks to have found its range, popping Camara under the eye.

Camara is rocked!
Rivers cracks Camara with a hook to the temple - Camara is on wobbly legs here! Rivers swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Camara falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Rivers wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Phil Rivers!
