Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, BC Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Art Mcgowan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgowan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Art Mcgowan has been cut.
Mcgowan throws a push kick but Smith slaps the foot to one side.
Smith rushes Mcgowan and presses him up against the cage.
Smith is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mcgowan is defending well for now.
Smith landing knees to the body.
Mcgowan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Smith to keep the fight standing.
Smith misses with a knee to the head.
Smith lands a nice knee to the body.
Mcgowan is trying to break free.
Mcgowan tries to break the clinch but Smith is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mcgowans head.
Smith is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Smith tries to land knees in the clinch but Mcgowan avoids the damage to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcgowan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Smith after a bit of a struggle.
Smith lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Mcgowan has Smith pushed against the cage.
Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Smith rushes Mcgowan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Smith is stalling here.
Mcgowan tries to pull guard but Smith holds him up against the cage and eventually Mcgowan drops back down to his feet.
BC Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Art Mcgowan.

Smith stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Mcgowan has had enough of the clinch but Smith keeps him there for the moment.
Smith tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith lands an overhand right.
Smith lands a big right hand that sends Mcgowan crashing to the mat! Smith stays standing though and waves Mcgowan back to his feet!
Mcgowan is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mcgowan bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Smith comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Mcgowan falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Mcgowan was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). BC Smith!
After winning the bout, BC Smith thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
