Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rashad Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yancy Tellurite!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tests Tellurite's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jackson connects with a looping right hand.
Jackson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Tellurite showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
Tellurite misses with a takedown
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tellurite fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away.

Jackson moves into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Tellurite has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jackson after a bit of a struggle.
Rashad Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yancy Tellurite.
Jackson is pressed up against the cage. Tellurite has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jackson down to the mat. Jackson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've been told by Jackson's head coaches at Panda Sprawl n Brawl that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jackson connects with a crisp jab.
Jackson cracks Tellurite with an open hand slap.
Jackson lands with a nice combination. Tellurite backs away looking to recover.
Tellurite fails with the takedown
and Jackson counters with a three punch combo that has Tellurite backing up. Tellurite nods at Jackson to acknowledge the strikes.
Jackson stuns Tellurite with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tellurite takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tellurite takes one to the chin there.
Jackson connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Tellurite tumbling to the canvas! Jackson pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Tellurite was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rashad Jackson!
Our winner, Rashad Jackson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
