Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Kimber (ranked 3350 p4p, 2033 weight class) and Konsta Mutka (ranked 443 p4p, 286 weight class). Mutka has chosen Let It Bleed as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Kimber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Konsta Mutka!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimber throws a front kick aimed at Mutka's knee but Mutka avoids it well.
Mutka throws out a counter right but Kimber avoids it with no problem.
A jab from Mutka does it's job there.
Mutka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A little feinted left hand from Kimber on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mutka has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mutka uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kimber.
We've been hearing reports that Kimber has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Mutka with a nice calf kick.
Mutka connects with a solid leg kick.
Kimber moves forwards but Mutka connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Nice shot lands for Mutka.
Mutka takes a swing at Kimber's ribcage but misses.
Kimber looks to score with a jab to the body but Mutka is just out of range.

Kimber is looking to counter punch.
Kimber throws a poor cross that misses
letting Mutka counter with a right hand.

Kimber closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kimber is trying to get an arm triangle but Mutka is defending well.

Kimber tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kimber has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kimber has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Mutka squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Kimber jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mutka manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Kimber wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mutka keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mutka is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kimber asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kimber goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mutka has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kimber but great work by Mutka.
Mutka tries to get to his feet but Kimber is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Mutka in his guard.

Kimber escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mutka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kimber throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mutka escapes and throws Kimber's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Kimber trying his best to control but Mutka has mounted him.
Kimber can't escape the position.

Mutka stands up from mount. Strange move.

Kimber fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mutka looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Mutka lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Mutka is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kimber.
It looked like Kimber wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Mutka lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Kimber is rocked!
Mutka connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Kimber out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Konsta Mutka!
