Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Behnder (ranked 249 p4p, 533 weight class) and Kwasi Kwong (ranked 40 p4p, 81 weight class). Kwasi Kwong has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marcus Behnder's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Behnder shoots in but Kwong avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Behnder drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kwong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Behnder. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Behnder slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Behnder pushes down on Kwong's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kwong is not content to let Behnder control the position.
Kwong felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Kwong won't allow Behnder to pass to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Behnder wants to take a breather but Kwong is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Behnder thows a huge punch but Kwong dodges it nicely.

Behnder tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kwong sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Behnder somewhat.

Kwong cracks Behnder with a left hook right on the temple and Behnder goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Kwong lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Behnder is OK!
