Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guilherme Godoi (ranked 341 p4p, 624 weight class) and New Car (ranked 47 p4p, 83 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Car throws a jab when Godoi was well out of range.
Godoi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Car.
Godoi defending well as Car loads up on a big left hand.
Car misses with a hook. Godoi ducked under it nicely.
Car throws a hook but Godoi avoids it easily.
Godoi scores with a nice strike.
Godoi throws a looping overhand right but Car ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Godoi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Car.
Car looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Car looks to land a right hand but Godoi moved out of range.
Car throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Car cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Godoi looks to throw the jab but Car is out of range.
Car looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Car loads up on a big right hand but Godoi slips the punch.
An attempted straight right counter from Godoi misses the target.
Car displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Godoi throws out the jab.
