Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Stevens (ranked 4391 p4p, 24610 weight class) and Bigi Boy (ranked 516 p4p, 0 weight class). Bigi Boy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Micheal Stevens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bigi Boy! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy throws a head kick but Stevens moves out of range.
Stevens drives through and clinches with Boy against the cage.
Stevens drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Boy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Boy tightens his grip and picks Stevens up, before dumping him to the ground. Stevens manages to land in guard. Boy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Boy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stevens's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boy stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Stevens to get to his feet. Boy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stevens dives in and grabs Boy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boy pushes down on Stevens's head and hops out. Boy throws a big counter head kick but Stevens avoids it with no problem. Bigi Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Stevens on the wrong end of a nice hook. Boy throws a head kick that misses. Boy circles away from the clinch attempt.
A head kick misses from Boy. Boy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stevens backs up against the cage.
Boy misses with an uppercut. A big right from Boy misses. Boy throws a hook but Stevens blocks it. Boy swats away the attempt to clinch by Stevens. Stevens bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Stevens avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Stevens is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boy missing with a left hand there. Stevens was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Stevens looks for a takedown but Boy sprawls well. It seemed like Boy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal Stevens. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stevens misses with a takedown attempt - Boy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Boy looks like he wants to counter punch here. Boy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Boy looks winded! Boy slaps away a takedown attempt from Stevens, before circling back to the center of the mat. A head kick from Stevens lands but Boy takes it in his stride.
It looks like Bigi Boy has been cut. A head kick by Boy misses and Stevens counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Stevens. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Boy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stevens.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens manages to break the clinch.
Bigi Boy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Boy throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stevens has closed the distance and engaged Boy in a clinch.
Boy misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Stevens.
Boy is looking to break free of the clinch but Stevens has double underhooks. Stevens stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Stevens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stevens is trying to break free. Stevens prevents the takedown attempt.
Stevens crunches a lovely knee into Boy's ribcage. Stevens gets control of Boy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stevens will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stevens swivels though and keeps the full guard. Stevens keeping moving, preventing Boy from controlling successfully. Stevens looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stevens looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stevens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Boy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Let's hope that Boy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bigi Boy dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bigi Boy's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Stevens has a takedown stuffed. Boy throws a head kick but Stevens moves out of range.
Stevens tries for a takedown but Boy circles away easily and Boy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Stevens falls off balance throwing a combination
and Boy counters with a straight right hand. Stevens slips under a jab. Stevens will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal Stevens. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good exchange - Boy coming out on top. Stevens gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Boy counters with a nice uppercut. Stevens darts in looking for a takedown but Boy gets double underhooks and turns Stevens into the cage.

Boy has had enough of the clinch but Stevens keeps him there for the moment. Boy presses Stevens against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. The referee calls for Boy to work.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Stevens wants to break the clinch but can't.
Stevens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stevens shoots in but Boy avoids the takedown attempt easily. Stevens tries to clinch but Boy is having none of it. Boy scores with a head kick.
Boy is breathing heavily. Stevens ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Boy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevens is looking to clinch but Boy is avoiding it.
Stevens uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boy. Boy throws a sloppy head kick and Stevens moves out of range easily. A slow jab from Boy misses its intended target. Stevens tries to clinch up. Stevens fails in his attempt to clinch. Boy swats away the attempt to clinch by Stevens. Stevens tries to clinch but Boy moves out of range. Stevens slips under a jab from Boy. A big left from Boy misses. Nice sprawl there from Boy as Stevens shoots in. Stevens lands a high kick!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Stevens tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Boy defends well and Stevens ends up having to push Boy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Boy raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Stevens can't break the clinch.
Stevens has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Boy uses from the top position. Stevens trying to keep a closed guard but Boy is proving a slippery customer.
Boy works over Stevens with some ground and pound from guard. Boy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stevens is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stevens has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stevens with a flurry of punches that miss. Boy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Stevens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boy swivels though and keeps the full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stevens prevents Boy from getting back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bigi Boy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Bigi Boy's cut. That's time! Stevens's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Stevens scores with a head kick.

Stevens dives in for a single leg takedown but Boy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Boy is trying to trip Stevens. He has hold of a leg but Stevens is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Boy persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Boy sitting in guard, not really doing much. Stevens wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Boy is now in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boy is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Boy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boy landing punches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stevens can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Stevens is just holding on here. Boy manages to take his back.
Boy is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Stevens taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Boy.
