Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gael Grappler (ranked 792 p4p, 2304 weight class) and DJ Killeshaw (ranked 123 p4p, 325 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gael Grappler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, DJ Killeshaw! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killeshaw is trying hard to land a takedown here. Grappler sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Grappler rushes Killeshaw and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Grappler misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Killeshaw.
Grappler lands a nice elbow.
It looks like DJ Killeshaw has been cut. A nice glancing elbow lands by Grappler. Grappler gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Killeshaw looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Grappler lands with a punch from half guard. Grappler with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Grappler is nestled in close to Killeshaw, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That has opened up DJ Killeshaw's cut even more. Grappler thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Killeshaw's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grappler is controlling the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round. Grappler thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Killeshaw's head. Killeshaw looking for submissions off his back. Killeshaw has hold of Grappler's hands but Grappler slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Grappler working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Grappler sitting and controlling from the half guard. Killeshaw wants to improve his position but Grappler is controlling well.
Grappler working over Killeshaw with some ground and pound. Killeshaw looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The cut above DJ Killeshaw's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at DJ Killeshaw's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Gael Grappler! An out of breath Gael Grappler thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
