Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alphonse Ngouabi (ranked 4865 p4p, 24012 weight class) and Tue Mikkelsen (ranked 529 p4p, 622 weight class). Ngouabi comes to the cage accompanied by Lacrimosa (GRIM Remix). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikkelsen wants to clinch up but Ngouabi keeps it at a distance.
Ngouabi appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

That was a close round but I would say that Alphonse Ngouabi will probably get the nod.

Mikkelsen tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ngouabi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ngouabi postures up in Mikkelsen's guard and throws a big left but Mikkelsen blocks it.
Mikkelsen is wriggling around but Ngouabi manages to pass to half guard.
Ngouabi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ngouabi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mikkelsen pulls his leg out and moves away.
