Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei Averyanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Wille Thai!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Averyanov jabs Thai right on the nose. Thai blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Wille Thai has been cut.
Averyanov throws a shot from downtown. Thai moves away and avoids it.
A big left from Averyanov misses.
Thai tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Averyanov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Averyanov with the inside leg kick.
No luck for Thai with that takedown attempt.
Averyanov throwing a counter right hand but Thai manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thai dives in for a single leg takedown but Averyanov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Averyanov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thai counters with a nice double leg into side control. Averyanov won't be happy with that.
Averyanov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Averyanov tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thai advances nicely into full mount.

Thai looking for a guillotine from mount but Averyanov is having none of it.
Thai working for a submission but Averyanov is keeping him at bay.
Averyanov tries to buck Thai off but he can't manage it.
Thai has control of Averyanov's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Averyanov regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Thai is working for a guillotine from mount but Averyanov frees his head quite easily.
Thai looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Thai wants to finish this one by submission but Averyanov is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Thai.
Thai moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Averyanov has worked his arm free - good work by Averyanov!
Thai looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Thai is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Averyanov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Thai passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Averyanov!

Thai jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Averyanov is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Averyanov and Thai has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Thai has an Americana. Averyanov didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Thai is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Thai hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
