Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joseph DeAngelo (ranked 748 p4p, 1611 weight class) and Longsun Zhao (ranked 115 p4p, 241 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Longsun Zhao!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from DeAngelo. Those never looked like landing.
Zhao showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from DeAngelo.
Zhao keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from DeAngelo.
Zhao misses with a hook. DeAngelo ducked under it nicely.
Zhao misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from DeAngelo.

Zhao with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling DeAngelo to score with a decent uppercut.

DeAngelo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Longsun Zhao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zhao misses with a hook. DeAngelo ducked under it nicely.
DeAngelo connects with a nice looking jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Zhao takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

DeAngelo ducks right into an uppercut from Zhao.

Zhao leaves his chin hanging out and DeAngelo seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Zhao crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
