The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mahogany shoots in and drives through. O'xit sprawls well. Mahogany misses with a head kick.
Mahogany misses with a takedown and O'xit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mahogany tries to clinch but O'xit moves away and O'xit counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mahogany throws a head kick that misses enabling O'xit to counter with a crisp jab. Mahogany throws a sloppy head kick and O'xit moves out of range easily. Mahogany looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Mahogany shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts O'xit as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Mahogany. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. O'xit turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Mahogany drops his hands momentarily and O'xit takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mahogany fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but O'xit avoids it really well and circles away. A big right from O'xit misses. Mahogany on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. O'xit works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. O'xit lands with an uppercut that bounces Mahogany off the cage and back into range. Mahogany is rocked! Mahogany shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has O'xit pinned against the cage. O'xit gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A little jabbing left from O'xit on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. O'xit ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. O'xit lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Mahogany swings away with a body shot that misses
and O'xit counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Horrible takedown attempt by Mahogany or perhaps it was just good defense by O'xit, which made it look bad. Mahogany tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but O'xit defends well and Mahogany ends up having to push O'xit into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mahogany dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from O'xit. O'xit tries a body shot but Mahogany blocks it.
O'xit breaks from the clinch.
Mahogany throws a head kick but O'xit moves out of range.
Mahogany dives in and grabs O'xit's left leg, looking for a takedown. O'xit pushes down on Mahogany's head and hops out. Mahogany ducks right into an uppercut from O'xit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mahogany pulls out of a head kick attempt.
O'xit looks like he wants to counter punch here. O'xit looks to land a left hand but Mahogany moved out of range nicely. O'xit cracks Mahogany with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Mahogany throws a head kick that misses and O'xit counters with a nice uppercut. Mahogany tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but O'xit swivels and escapes. Nice body punch from O'xit. Mahogany is breathing heavily. O'xit throws a good cross that connects.
Oh Mahogany is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! O'xit lands a right hook to the body.
Mahogany seems to have got his legs back now. Mahogany tries a head kick but it misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from O'xit. Mahogany does a little dance to reset his feet. Mahogany feinted with a counter takedown. Mahogany shoots in looking for a takedown but O'xit manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mahogany's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. O'xit looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mahogany misses with a kick to the body.
A head kick misses from Mahogany. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mahogany misses with a jab to the body
and O'xit counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Mahogany throws a head kick but O'xit moves out of range.
O'xit throws a big shot that misses. O'xit is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Mahogany had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. O'xit avoids the head kick by Mahogany.
A countering left hand to the body from O'xit misses. O'xit has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Mahogany is landing a low percentage of strikes. Mahogany shoots and misses and O'xit makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. O'xit comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Mahogany takes a shot to the body in his stride.
O'xit misses with a looping right. Mahogany has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from O'xit. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pice O'xit dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
O'xit lands a big right hand that sends Mahogany crashing to the mat! O'xit stays standing though and waves Mahogany back to his feet! It looks like Rich Mahogany has been cut. A head kick by Mahogany misses and O'xit makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Mahogany walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from O'xit! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
