Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
loco avoids the head kick by Berrett.
loco will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Berrett throws a right hand that loco ducks under and follows up with a left that loco also avoids with ease.
loco showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Berrett.
Berrett throws a head kick that misses.

Berrett tries to clinch there but loco circles away.
Berrett gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
loco drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Berrett dives on top into guard.

loco has his foot on Berrett's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Berrett works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Robert Berrett will probably get the nod.

loco postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Berrett is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of loco, into his guard.
Berrett avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Berrett trying to control the position from guard on top but loco is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

loco isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Berrett stacks loco on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Berrett!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Berrett wants to control but loco is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

xico loco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
loco darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
loco is looking for a kimura but Berrett is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for loco to get the leverage.
loco seems to be looking for submissions.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Berrett trying to hold on to loco's head to control him but loco postures up.

loco is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Berrett is just riding it out for now. loco eventually gives up the hold.
Berrett wants to get back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
loco in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Berrett tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from loco!
