Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Wilson (ranked 5377 p4p, 23858 weight class) and Khabib Gaethje (ranked 414 p4p, 497 weight class). Khabib Gaethje will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Wilson !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Khabib Gaethje!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaethje misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gaethje lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Gaethje clobbers Wilson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gaethje throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Wilson 's head.

Wilson misses with a takedown attempt - Gaethje sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Wilson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gaethje finds it's way round the side to connect with Wilson 's head.

Gaethje lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gaethje tries a head kick but it misses.
Wilson 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gaethje connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wilson scrambles back to his feet.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gaethje is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wilson is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gaethje has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wilson has managed to get both his arms back between Gaethje's legs - danger averted.

Wilson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gaethje has managed to free his arm - good work.
Gaethje tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Wilson has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Gaethje really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilson . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gaethje wants to hold on but Wilson pushes him away.

Wilson prevents Gaethje from getting the reversal.
Wilson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gaethje manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Wilson tries for a kimura but Gaethje is defending well.
Gaethje is looking to reverse the position.

Gaethje is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wilson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Gaethje is looking to regain half guard here but Wilson keeps moving and retains side control.
Wilson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gaethje is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gaethje takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Gaethje trying to control but Wilson flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gaethje misses with a head kick.
Gaethje lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Gaethje stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gaethje wants it to stay on the feet.
Gaethje closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gaethje lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Nice straight punches there by Gaethje. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gaethje.
Gaethje bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wilson 's head backwards.

Gaethje shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wilson eats them both and turns towards Gaethje to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Wilson ducks right into an uppercut from Gaethje.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wilson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gaethje is defending against the submission attempts here by Wilson .

Gaethje is looking for a sweep. Wilson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Gaethje has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Wilson passes to full mount!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gaethje is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Wilson avoids the attempt from Gaethje to control.
Wilson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gaethje has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Gaethje tries to improve his position but Wilson has taken his back! Wilson has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Gaethje tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Wilson pushes Gaethje away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
