Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashid Elkhan (ranked 423 p4p, 517 weight class) and Marko Kerr (ranked 64 p4p, 78 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rashid Elkhan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marko Kerr! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr on the wrong end of a nice hook. Elkhan gets caught flat footed, as Kerr shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kerr pushes down on Elkhan's leg and manages to get into half guard. Elkhan taking some punishment here, with Kerr in his half guard. Kerr wants to free his trapped foot but Elkhan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Elkhan tries to get to full guard but Kerr has control of the leg. Kerr looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kerr takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kerr not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Elkhan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kerr. Kerr working the head and body with strikes. Kerr sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Elkhan defending well though. Kerr is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Kerr lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr winds up and cracks Elkhan with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kerr looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kerr wants to control but Elkhan is keeping him busy. Elkhan is looking to improve his position.
Elkhan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kerr on the ground. Kerr working Elkhan over with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Elkhan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kerr scores with a couple of nice shots. Elkhan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kerr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Elkhan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kerr looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kerr lands with a punch from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerr scores with a big shot! Elkhan's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Elkhan! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marko Kerr!
