Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Goldberg (ranked 5195 p4p, 4430 weight class) and Janky Jankens (ranked 0 p4p, 543 weight class). Goldberg's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, GOLDBERGS WCW INTRO MUSIC. Jankens comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Straight Outta Compton by- NWA kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Janky Jankens is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg ducks under a wild hook from Jankens.

Jankens looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Jankens makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Jankens lands a really nice looking cross but Goldberg seems unphased.

Jankens throws a jab but it's blocked by Goldberg.
Goldberg tries to move into range but Jankens moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Jankens counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice straight punches there by Jankens. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jankens.

Goldberg closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Goldberg wants to take a breather but Jankens is having none of it.
Jankens wants to control but Goldberg is keeping busy.
Goldberg perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Jankens is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jankens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goldberg moves away.

A nice side step and Jankens releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jankens bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Goldberg's head backwards.

Jankens scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Goldberg doesn't seem bothered though.

Goldberg changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jankens looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Goldberg definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jankens tries to bench press Goldberg off him but Goldberg keeps the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jankens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goldberg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Jankens is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Goldberg.

Goldberg looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Goldberg in particular looking to stall.
Goldberg's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
