Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dolla Drew (ranked 4568 p4p, 4281 weight class) and Jack Ryker (ranked 513 p4p, 501 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dolla Drew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Ryker!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drew ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ryker tries to clinch there but Drew circles away.

Ryker instigates a clinch.
Drew avoiding damage.

Ryker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Drew dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Good shot there by Drew.
Drew throws a sloppy body shot

and Ryker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Drew is looking to break free of the clinch but Ryker has double underhooks.
Drew is trying to force a seperation but Ryker has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drew tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ryker has Drew pressed against the cage, preventing Drew from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ryker keeps control of Drew as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Ryker jumps into guard, dragging Drew to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ryker is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Drew showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Ryker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Drew gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ryker will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Ryker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Drew defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drew wants to control from the top but Ryker keeps moving.
Drew will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ryker seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryker throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ryker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Drew to score with a decent uppercut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Drew, as that shot connected.

Drew throwing a counter right hand but Ryker manages to avoid it.
Ryker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Drew counters with a series of strikes. Ryker will be more careful next time no doubt.
Ryker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Drew sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ryker somewhat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ryker takes one to the chin there.
Drew uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ryker shoots in looking for a takedown. Drew tries to sprawl out of it but Ryker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Drew manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Drew scores with the left hand. Ryker knows he should have avoided that one.
Ryker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drew but Drew pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dolla Drew has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Ryker.

Drew lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ryker backs up against the cage.
Ryker dives in and grabs Drew's left leg, looking for a takedown. Drew pushes down on Ryker's head and hops out.

Ryker clinches up with Drew and pushes him back against the cage.
Drew has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Drew tries to stall but Ryker uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Drew can't break the clinch.

Ryker decides to pull guard.

Drew avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Ryker on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ryker dives in for a single leg takedown but Drew sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ryker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

enabling Drew to counter with a crisp jab.

Ryker tries a body shot but Drew blocks it.

A frustrated look appears on Drew's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Drew is trying to push Ryker away but Ryker has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Ryker goes for a takedown in the clinch but Drew prevents it.
Dolla Drew has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Ryker.
Drew trying to control the position but instead, Ryker has worked for underhooks and has pushed Drew into the cage.
Ryker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Drew is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Ryker successfully pulls guard.
Drew wants to get up but he can't break Ryker's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ryker is on top in guard.

Ryker tries to free his leg and advance position but Drew is retaining full guard.

Drew knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ryker on the ground.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Drew is looking to get back to his feet here but Ryker is keeping cool and he's managed to take Drew's back.

Ryker is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ryker's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Ryker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ryker closes the distance and clinches up with Drew, looking for a takedown. Ryker pushes Drew against the cage but Drew circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Drew lands with an uppercut that bounces Ryker off the cage and back into range.

Ryker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Drew uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ryker has time to react.
Drew feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rykers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Drew throws a monster overhand right that drops Ryker! Drew follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dolla Drew!
