Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zack Rize (ranked 1461 p4p, 2909 weight class) and Jack Christ (ranked 11 p4p, 98 weight class). Rize kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Luke Combs - When It Rains It Pours. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rize walks into a jab.
Christ misses with a wild body shot.
Rize steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Christ.
Rize moves out of range as Christ strikes.
Christ throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rize sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rize takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Christ takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Despite the aggression on Christ's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Rize seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Rize lands a big uppercut and Christ crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Christ looks OK. Rize waves Christ back to his feet!

Rize throws a leg kick which misses Christ's front leg but catches the back leg as Christ tries to avoid it.

Rize tries to counter by clinching up but Christ breaks away and moves out of range.
Rize drops Christ with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Christ looks back up at him and smiles so Rize waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Rize connects with a solid leg kick.
Rize walks into a left hand.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rize.
Rize lands with a nice body punch.
Rize thumps Christ with a low kick.
Rize scoring well with a low kick there.
Rize feints and then cracks Christ's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Christ down.
Christ throws a body punch but Rize moves out of range.
Rize throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rize cracks Christ with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Christ looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rize finish him?
That has opened up Jack Christ's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rize drops Christ with a huge uppercut! Christ drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Rize is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zack Rize!
After winning the bout, Zack Rize thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
