Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Maddison (ranked 3927 p4p, 4350 weight class) and Jarret Jack (ranked 455 p4p, 487 weight class). Maddison comes to the cage accompanied by Central Cee - 6 For 6. Matthew Maddison could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jarret Jack's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matthew Maddison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jarret Jack! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jack scores with a crisp jab that stopped Maddison in his tracks.
It looks like Matthew Maddison has been cut. We've been hearing reports that Maddison has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Jack instigates a clinch. Jack throws a head punch that misses. Jack swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Jack. Jack lands on the inside with an uppercut. Jack makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Jack fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Maddison has Jack pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Maddison pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jack tumbling to the mat - Maddison dives into Jack's guard. Jack wants to stand and escape but Maddison is having none of it. Jack looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Maddison looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Maddison won't allow Jack to get back to his feet.

Jack wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Maddison manages to pass to side control. Jack kicks Maddison off and gets back to his feet. Maddison with a lazy takedown attempt letting Jack counter with a right hand. Jack rushes Maddison and presses him up against the cage. Maddison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jack lands a left hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Maddison has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jack after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matthew Maddison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maddison goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jack prevents it.
Maddison gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Maddison prevents Jack from standing back up.
Maddison seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Maddison controlling the action here. Maddison stops Jack from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maddison wants to work for an arm triangle but Jack is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Still in half guard, Maddison seems content to control. Jack is trying to stand up here but Maddison is controlling him well. Maddison is controlling the pace.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Maddison is pressing down on Jack's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jack is holding on for now. Maddison not doing much here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Maddison tries for a takedown but Jack circles away easily and Jack moves into the clinch. Jack with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Maddison blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Jack scores with a shoulder strike. Maddison jumps guard but Jack turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. A quick uppercut on the inside from Jack. Jack swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Jack. Jack gets through Maddison's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Maddison takes a shot to the head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jarret Jack dominated that round. The cut man is working on Matthew Maddison's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Maddison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Matthew Maddison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maddison has Jack up against the cage in a clinch.

Jack seems a little lost for a moment, as Maddison dominates the positioning. Jack wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Maddison content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Jack tries to escape but Maddison is in control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jack is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Maddison tries to counter with a takedown but Jack is quick to defend against it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jack darts in and clinches Maddison up against the cage. Maddison blocks a punch to the side of the head.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jack. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jack is trying to escape and get back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jarret Jack showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Matthew Maddison's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Maddison closes the distance and clinches. Jack lands a hook that snaps the head of Maddison backwards. Maddison has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jack is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Maddison drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jack gets the underhooks and prevents it.

He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Jack slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Jack lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Jarret Jack! Matthew Maddison spoke after the fight, saying 'Fuck off I have work to do!'.
