Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rounin Hashima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henry Keaty!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hashima lands with an uppercut that bounces Keaty off the cage and back into range.
Keaty closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hashima counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Henry Keaty has been cut.
Keaty throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hashima swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Keaty doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hashima counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Keaty will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Keaty fails with the takedown
and Hashima scores with a counter punch that sends Keaty to the canvas! Hashima smells blood - he's punishing Keaty with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Keaty has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rounin Hashima!
Rounin Hashima spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Henry Keaty was interviewed post fight and said 'You never expect to lose, I'm sorry for letting my sponsors and fans down. My team and I will fix my game. I'll be back!'.
