Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pat Kelly (ranked 954 p4p, 1501 weight class) and Cameron Bye (ranked 138 p4p, 219 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pat Kelly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cameron Bye! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bye moves out of range of the strikes. Kelly jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kelly moves in looking to clinch but Bye pushes him off. Kelly throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kelly lands with a cross. Bye gets caught napping as Kelly dives in and scores a takedown. Bye manages to retain guard. Bye kicks Kelly off and gets to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bye keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kelly throws a big shot that misses. Bye on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Kelly lands with a cross. Kelly circles away from the clinch attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bye. Kelly does a little dance to reset his feet. Kelly scores with a sloppy right hand. Bye should have avoided that one. Bye throws a leg kick but Kelly sees it coming and moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bye avoids a kick to the body.
Bye unleashes a big counter combination but Kelly bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Kelly has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA in the buildup to the fight. Bye pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bye uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kelly. Bye lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Kelly throws a series of punches but Bye moves out of range. Bye throws a series of punches but Kelly avoids them all with ease. Kelly misses with an uppercut. Bye ducks right into an uppercut from Kelly. Kelly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bye manages to avoid it. The fighters circling - Kelly throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kelly keeps the fight on the outside. Kelly lands an overhand right. Bye staying out of range there. Kelly swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelly lands a head shot. Bye throws a right and a left that both miss. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bye throws a jab but it's blocked by Kelly. Kelly throws a jab when Bye was well out of range. Bye only half commits to the counter leg kick. Bye checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Bye looks like he wants to counter punch here. A jab from Kelly does it's job there. Bye uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kelly. Bye steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Kelly throws out a token jab with nothing on it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bye! But no joy. Bye checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Bye lands a jab to the nose. Kelly darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Kelly throws a jab when Bye was well out of range. Kelly throws the left hand but Bye avoids the punch easily. Kelly fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kelly throws a shot from downtown. Bye moves away and avoids it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bye! But no joy. Kelly scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kelly misses with a looping right. Kelly misses with an uppercut. Bye is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Bye uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kelly. Bye is looking to clinch. Kelly misses with a low kick.
Kelly lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bye steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kelly. Kelly misses with a straight right. Bye throws a big shot that misses. A big left from Kelly misses. Bye keeps the fight on the outside. Bye throws a counter combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bye tries to clinch up but Kelly circles away and keeps his distance. Kelly throws a lazy right hand but Bye sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bye takes a swing at Kelly's ribcage but misses. Pat Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kelly scores with a jab to the jaw. Kelly misses with a series of wild punches.
Kelly pushes Bye up against the cage in a clinch. Bye has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kelly breaks the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bye displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kelly throws out the jab. Bye lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Bye works Kelly's body with a nice hook. Bye moves out of range of the strikes. Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bye paws at him with a jab and circles away. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Kelly dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Kelly misses with a straight right. Kelly closes the distance and clinches. Kelly trying to land knees to the body.
Bye's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kelly gets a takedown into half guard. Bye is looking to escape. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kelly connects with a nice short shot to Bye's temple. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kelly is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bye defends it well. Kelly stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bye kicks Kelly off and gets back to his feet. Kelly is looking to clinch but Bye is avoiding it.
A nice side step and Bye releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Bye lands a leg kick that knocks Kelly off balance momentarily. Kelly tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kelly lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kelly misses the shot to the body. Kelly dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kelly instigates a clinch. Kelly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bye takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelly takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bye ducks under a wild hook from Kelly. Bye looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Bye cracks Kelly with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Kelly uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Kelly pushes Bye up against the cage in a clinch. Bye blocks a body shot from Kelly. Kelly digs a right hand into Bye's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bye's gas tank. Bye is breathing heavily. Kelly gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Cameron Bye has been cut. Kelly stalling against the cage.
Bye blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kelly misses with a body punch.
Bye breaks from the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bye with a nice calf kick. Kelly jabs at Bye's body. Kelly drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kelly scoring with punches from side control. Bye defending against the ground and pound. Kelly trying to control the action but Bye is working from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Bye's face as Kelly controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly is looking to take a break and control but Bye is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kelly tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bye's legs. Kelly is trying to move to mount but Bye reverses beautifully and ends up in Kelly's guard. Bye stopping the sweep attempt from Kelly. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bye wants to control from the top but Kelly keeps moving. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Kelly dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Cameron Bye's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! The fighters circling - Kelly throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kelly gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The referee is keeping an eye on Kelly - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Bye blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Kelly prevents Bye from breaking the clinch. Kelly lands a body punch in the clinch. Bye's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cameron Bye is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kelly misses with a jab to the body
and Kelly takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bye ducks under a wild hook from Kelly. Bye throws a fast counter high kick but Kelly manages to duck under it in time. Bye plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Kelly misses with a hook. Bye ducked under it nicely. Kelly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kelly lands in his opponent's guard. Kelly trying to control but Bye is working from the bottom. Bye wants to sweep but no luck. Kelly pushing down on Bye's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kelly is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bye can do to turn this around? Bye is trying to stand back up but Kelly is controlling him
Bye takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bye wants to get back to full guard. Kelly wants to pass to mount but Bye is defending the position. Kelly is looking to take a break and control but Bye is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kelly works his foot free and advances to mount. Cameron Bye has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bye has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Kelly thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly punching from mount but Bye doing a good job of avoiding damage. Bye wants to control but Kelly is having none of it. Kelly looking to finish with strikes here!
Kelly landing punches. Kelly trying to control but Bye is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kelly is landing with some decent strikes but Bye is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that's the end of the fight! Pat Kelly showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kelly has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
