Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Murilo Ninja (ranked 1052 p4p, 1862 weight class) and Samson Komua (ranked 149 p4p, 269 weight class). Komua has chosen Fangai Lupe as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ninja misses with a jab to the body
and Komua counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Komua. Ninja does a little dance to reset his feet.
Komua has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ninja drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ninja tries to score with some ground and pound. Komua controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Ninja creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Komua sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Komua tries to move into range but Ninja moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Komua uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ninja.
Komua looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
