Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doko Dokov (ranked 1577 p4p, 1782 weight class) and Max Holloway (ranked 217 p4p, 236 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dokov throws a nice looking combination but Holloway bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dokov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Holloway takes a swing at Dokov's ribcage but misses.
Dokov avoids the body shot from Holloway.
Dokov slips a jab from Holloway.
Holloway throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dokov drops his hands momentarily and Holloway takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Holloway takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Dokov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

It looks like Doko Dokov has been cut.
Dokov tries to close the distance and clinch but Holloway swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Holloway throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dokov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Holloway throws a leg kick which misses Dokov's front leg but catches the back leg as Dokov tries to avoid it.

An inside leg kick lands from Holloway.
Dokov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Holloway.
Dokov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Holloway connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dokov scrambles back to his feet.
Holloway clobbers Dokov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dokov shoots in but Holloway avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Dokov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Holloway manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Holloway misses with a hook. Dokov ducked under it nicely.
As Holloway looks to move away, Dokov throws a big counter combo but Holloway just gets out of the way.

Dokov shoots in looking for a takedown. Holloway tries to sprawl out of it but Dokov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Holloway manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Doko Dokov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Holloway looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Holloway drops Dokov with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Dokov! Holloway dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
