The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Zeidan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zeidan instigates a clinch.
Briggs fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Zeidan throws an elbow but it misses.

Briggs tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Zeidan's elbow.
Briggs blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Briggs tries to throw a body punch but Zeidan avoids it by throwing Briggs back against the cage.

Zeidan lands a right hand that snaps the head of Briggs backwards.
Briggs is rocked!
Zeidan has Briggs pressed up against the cage. He pushes off and cracks Briggs right on the button with a huge left hook! Briggs goes down! The referee has started the count but Briggs is out! He's out cold! Zeidan runs over to his corner to celebrate and looks close to tears after getting the big win. Congratulations to him.

After winning the bout, Wesley Zeidan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
