Montenegro kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Long After You’re Gone. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montenegro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Montenegro wants it to stay on the feet.

Trek Shek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Shek drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shek wants to stand but Montenegro has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Montenegro wants to get back to his feet but Shek is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Shek might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Montenegro haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
