Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kazuo Takashi (ranked 50 p4p, 1302 weight class) and Brett Shoenfeld (ranked 6 p4p, 74 weight class). Takashi comes to the cage accompanied by 吉田兄弟 Rising. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brett Shoenfeld!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoenfeld fails with the takedown

and Takashi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Takashi wants to pass the guard but Shoenfeld is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shoenfeld is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Takashi is just riding it out for now. Shoenfeld eventually gives up the hold.
