Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Pike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Faber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Junior Pike!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Faber or perhaps it was just good defense by Pike which made him look bad.
Faber tries for a takedown but Pike sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Faber.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Faber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Faber avoids the head kick by Pike.
Faber shoots in but no luck this time.
Pike shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Pike really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Faber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Faber sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Faber has hold of Pike's hands but Pike slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Pike wants to control but Faber is keeping him busy.
Pike looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Faber wants to get back to full guard.

Pike wants to work for an arm triangle but Faber is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pike missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Pike looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Faber tries to get to full guard but Pike has control of the leg.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Faber gets caught flat footed, as Pike shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Pike wants to stand and escape but instead Faber has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pike flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Pike tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Faber in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Pike tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Faber!
