Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between New Breed One (ranked 838 p4p, 1056 weight class) and Kiril Bohizdar (ranked 49 p4p, 66 weight class). New Breed One has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, New Breed One!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kiril Bohizdar!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One slips under a jab from Bohizdar.
One is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Bohizdar.
One avoids the body shot from Bohizdar.

One looking to score a takedown here. Bohizdar is defending well but One drives through and ends up in Bohizdar's guard.
One trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Bohizdar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
One wants to control from the top but Bohizdar keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
One tries to free his leg and advance position but Bohizdar is retaining full guard.

Bohizdar is looking for a triangle but One pushes his legs off easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as One accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

One stopping the sweep attempt from Bohizdar.
One tries to free his leg and advance position but Bohizdar is retaining full guard.
Bohizdar has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Bohizdar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
One trying to control the position from guard on top but Bohizdar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
One passes Bohizdar's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
One missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
One tries to pass to full mount but Bohizdar defends it.
One lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
One throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
One has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bohizdar tries to roll over but One keeps him under control.
Bohizdar is refusing to be controlled, as One sits in half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with One in particular looking to stall.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
One prevents Bohizdar from improving his position.

One is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bohizdar sees it coming and defends easily.
One seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
One is looking to advance position but Bohizdar won't allow it.

One is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
One wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bohizdar keeps working.
Bohizdar is looking to control One's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bohizdar avoid being mounted?

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bohizdar tests One's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bohizdar looks to land a left hand but One moved out of range nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bohizdar lands a nice hook to One's body. One takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from One.
It seemed like Bohizdar was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that New Breed One will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bohizdar throws a lazy right hand but One sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bohizdar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bohizdar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. One sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bohizdar throws a head kick but One moves out of range.
Bohizdar scores with a sloppy right hand. One should have avoided that one.
Kiril Bohizdar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bohizdar missing with a left hand there. One was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
One dives in and grabs Bohizdar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bohizdar pushes down on One's head and hops out.
Bohizdar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
It looked like One was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bohizdar.
Bohizdar thows a left - swing and a miss!

One feints and as Bohizdar raises his hands in defense, One changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bohizdar scrambles and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and One counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by One.
One tries to free his leg and advance position but Bohizdar is retaining full guard.
Bohizdar keeping moving, preventing One from controlling successfully.
One loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
One is in close to Bohizdar's body, working some short punches and elbows.
One slips nicely into half guard.

One seems to be working for a kimura but Bohizdar defends the submission attempt.

Bohizdar makes his way to full guard, as One worked for a kimura.

One trying to control the position from guard on top but Bohizdar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells One's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
One trying to control but Bohizdar is working from the bottom.
One keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bohizdar's head.
One is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
One postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
One forces his way into half guard.
Bohizdar trying to control from the bottom.
One wants to pass to mount but Bohizdar is defending the position.
One is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

One moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bohizdar has worked his arm free - good work by Bohizdar!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here.
One fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Bohizdar dodges the ground and pound from One.

One tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no One has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
One postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
One scores with punches from side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that New Breed One will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

One fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
One steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bohizdar.
One is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bohizdar.
One blocks a jab.
Bohizdar with a hook.
Bohizdar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bohizdar throws a right and a left that One avoids nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bohizdar feints and then cracks One's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow One down.
One slips under a jab.
Bohizdar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bohizdar looks to land a right hand but One moved out of range.

Bohizdar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bohizdar throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
One tries to counter with a takedown but Bohizdar is quick to defend against it.
One fails with the takedown.
Bohizdar lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
One looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bohizdar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
One checks a low kick from Bohizdar.
One changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

and One counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
One missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Kiril Bohizdar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

One is trying to control the action in half guard but Bohizdar is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
New Breed One overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
One stalling away here and it's allowed Bohizdar to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
One is stalling in the full guard.
One postures up and lands a big shot to Bohizdar's brow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
One trying to control the position from guard on top but Bohizdar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bohizdar has his foot on One's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. One works his way back into a safe position though.
One tries to free his leg and advance position but Bohizdar is retaining full guard.
One throws an elbow that misses. Bohizdar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in One's guard. Nice move by Bohizdar!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as One holds on and takes a little breather.
One keeping moving, preventing Bohizdar from controlling successfully.

One has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bohizdar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bohizdar wants to pass the guard but One is keeping the position.

One had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bohizdar defends it easily.
Bohizdar forces his way into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bohizdar thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
One trying to control here.

One looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Bohizdar is working for a kimura but One is defending it quite comfortably.

Bohizdar is working for a submission of some sort.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bohizdar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kiril Bohizdar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think One has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
