Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between London Penn (ranked 5583 p4p, 2094 weight class) and Tatu Kurri (ranked 0 p4p, 296 weight class). Tatu Kurri is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, London Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tatu Kurri! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Kurri. Kurri has knee on belly and moves into mount. Kurri looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Kurri sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kurri's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kurri with shots to the head and body - Penn looks very uncomfortable down there. Kurri scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Penn?
Penn has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. This has been an exciting period of action! Kurri is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Penn is surviving well by controlling Kurri's body position as best he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Penn is breathing heavily. Kurri lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kurri content just to control the position here. Kurri lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Kurri is looking to work his way around to Penn's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kurri working away from the top, dropping strikes. Kurri scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. BOOM! Kurri connects with a massive shot to the dome!
It looks like London Penn has been cut. Kurri landing strikes, looking to finish!
Penn is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Kurri sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Oh Penn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kurri lands a big shot there that rocks Penn but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurri in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Kurri with the ground and pound from mount. Penn has left one of his arms exposed and Kurri doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Penn screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tatu Kurri! Tatu Kurri was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
