Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sutarjo Sukarman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Scott!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott closes the distance but Sukarman moves to the side

and Sukarman counters with a single leg into guard. Scott didn't expect that.
Sukarman throws a strike but Scott rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Sukarman punching from the bottom.
Sukarman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Scott is controlling him.
Sukarman lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Scott is trying to control the position but Sukarman postures up.
Scott will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sukarman distracts Scott with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sukarman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Scott working for submissions but it's allowed Sukarman to get to half guard.
Sukarman drops an elbow to the side of Scott's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sukarman looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Sukarman is working for a submission of some sort.

Sukarman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sukarman lands a nice short elbow.
Sukarman prevents Scott from improving his position.
Scott missing with punches from the bottom.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sukarman scoring with strikes to the body and head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ground and pound from Sukarman.
Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sukarman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sukarman is nestled in close to Scott, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Scott looks winded!
Scott is trying to get back to full guard.
Sukarman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Sukarman passes to full mount!
Scott is still in real trouble! Can Sukarman finish him?

Sukarman throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Scott has his hands clasped together but Sukarman breaks the hold and Scott is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sukarman!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sutarjo Sukarman!
An intense looking Sutarjo Sukarman took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Thank you'.
