The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gominori throws a leg kick but Cash moved away.
Taka Gominori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cash shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gominori as he jumps to the side.
Gominori tries to land a leg kick but Cash saw it coming and moves away.
Gominori walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cash checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gominori throws a low kick but Cash avoids it.
Gominori buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Cash checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Gominori throws a leg kick but Cash sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Good leg kick by Gominori there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Gominori throws a front kick aimed at Cash's knee but Cash avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gominori throws a leg kick which misses Cash's front leg but catches the back leg as Cash tries to avoid it.
Cash scores with a takedown into Gominori's guard.
Cash postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Gominori is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Cash throws a strike but Gominori rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Gominori is sitting in close to Cash's body. Cash has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gominori is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gominori is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cash.
