Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Thompson (ranked 4511 p4p, 4508 weight class) and Zbigniew Pietrzykowski (ranked 0 p4p, 492 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anthony Thompson !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zbigniew Pietrzykowski!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pietrzykowski stalks Thompson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Thompson 's face. Thompson staggers backwards, shaken.
Thompson dodges the punch combination from Pietrzykowski.
Thompson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Thompson looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Pietrzykowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thompson . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pietrzykowski wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Thompson 's hips, looking to push off. But Thompson grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Pietrzykowski screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
