Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Cecil Lightning (ranked 3020 p4p, 3763 weight class) and Stefan Pantovic (ranked 383 p4p, 449 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cecil Lightning!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stefan Pantovic!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pantovic has closed the distance and engaged Lightning in a clinch.
Pantovic lands with a short shot to the head.
Lightning is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Pantovic misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lightning is trying to break the clinch but Pantovic has him pressed against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Lightning has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A frustrated look appears on Lightning's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Pantovic tries to clinch up but Lightning circles away and keeps his distance.

It appears Lightning was looking to counter with a kick there.

It looks like Stefan Pantovic has been cut.
Lightning lands an overhand right.
Lightning looks low and kicks high, catching Pantovic right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

Pantovic thows a left - swing and a miss!

Pantovic wants to clinch up but Lightning keeps it at a distance.
Lightning keeps the fight on the outside.

and Pantovic takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pantovic moves into the clinch successfully.
Pantovic scores with a shoulder strike.
Lightning pushes Pantovic back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Lightning escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lightning lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Pantovic crumples to the floor! Lightning milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Cecil Lightning!

Our winner, Cecil Lightning, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
