Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maro Pjetlic (ranked 401 p4p, 612 weight class) and Rashid Elkhan (ranked 57 p4p, 82 weight class). Pjetlic comes to the cage accompanied by Legend. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rashid Elkhan!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pjetlic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Elkhan's head.
Pjetlic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Pjetlic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Elkhan manages to avoid it.

The fighters circle momentarily. Elkhan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Pjetlic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Elkhan was well out of range. Poor timing from Pjetlic.

Pjetlic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
It seemed like Elkhan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pjetlic feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Elkhans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Pjetlic throws a lazy right hand but Elkhan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Elkhan has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

and Elkhan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Pjetlic just misses with a punch to the body.
Elkhan doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Pjetlic takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pjetlic throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Oooooh!!! Pjetlic has knocked Elkhan down with a huge combo! Pjetlic steps away and waves a wobbly Elkhan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Elkhan is rocked!
Pjetlic gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pjetlic digs a good body shot into Elkhan's ribs.
Pjetlic connects with a combination that backs up Elkhan into the cage. Pjetlic lands a flurry of punches that gets past Elkhan's guard. Elkhan is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Pjetlic bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maro Pjetlic!
