Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Necmettin Hoca (ranked 303 p4p, 809 weight class) and Liam Murphy (ranked 40 p4p, 114 weight class). Murphy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I'm Shipping Up To Boston- Dropkick Murphy's kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Necmettin Hoca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoca comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Murphy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hoca paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Murphy tries to clinch up but Hoca circles away and keeps his distance.
Murphy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hoca defends it nicely.
Murphy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murphy tries to throw a body punch but Hoca avoids it by throwing Murphy back against the cage.
Hoca goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Murphy lands a hook that snaps the head of Hoca backwards.
Murphy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hoca walks away with a smile on his face. Murphy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Murphy looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hoca escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hoca lands a head shot.
Murphy is rocked!
Murphy wants to clinch
and Hoca connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Murphy is still on wobbly legs! Can Hoca finish him?
Hoca lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Murphy up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Hoca from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Murphy's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Necmettin Hoca!
Necmettin Hoca decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
