Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torhte Finlayson (ranked 112 p4p, 45 weight class) and Sonatane Veainu (ranked 19 p4p, 9 weight class). Finlayson comes into the arena with Scotland the Brave, Black Bear blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sonatane Veainu!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finlayson lands a nice shot to the body.
Finlayson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Veainu.
Finlayson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Fist of Fury Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Finlayson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Veainu.
It seemed like Veainu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Finlayson throws a combination that misses

and Veainu counters with a nice right hand that sends Finlayson toppling to the canvas! Finlayson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Veainu finish him?!

It looks like Torhte Finlayson has been cut.
Finlayson misses the shot to the body.
Finlayson dips to his left and cracks Veainu with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Finlayson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Veainu ducks under a wild hook from Finlayson.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Veainu! But no joy.

Veainu lands a big right hand that sends Finlayson crashing to the mat! Veainu stays standing though and waves Finlayson back to his feet!
Finlayson misses with a lunging right hand
and Veainu scores with a counter punch that sends Finlayson to the canvas! Veainu smells blood - he's punishing Finlayson with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Finlayson has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
