PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard Ramirez (ranked 1819 p4p, 1978 weight class) and Better Dead (ranked 241 p4p, 260 weight class). Ramirez comes to the cage accompanied by Get Lucky. Better Dead will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Ramirez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Better Dead!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dead cracks Ramirez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dead lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dead listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Dead throws a shot from downtown. Ramirez moves away and avoids it.
Better Dead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ramirez shoots in but Dead avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dead moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dead throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
