The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martel has Jankens up against the cage in a clinch.
Jankens looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jankens tries to pull guard but Martel holds him up against the cage and eventually Jankens drops back down to his feet.
Martel blocks an uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Martel.
Martel lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Martel obliges.
Jankens looks winded!
Martel lands an elbow just above Jankens 's eye.

It looks like Johanas Jankens has been cut.
Martel's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Jankens swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Martel.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Martel takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Martel pushes Jankens back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Jankens is rocked!

That has opened up Johanas Jankens's cut even more.
Martel working the clinch nicely. Jankens is working for position but Martel cracks him with a big knee to the head! Jankens crumples up against the cage and Martel lands two more shots before the ref can save Jankens! This one is all over!
