Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Necmettin Hoca (ranked 389 p4p, 1033 weight class) and Liam Murphy (ranked 52 p4p, 139 weight class). Murphy has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston- Dropkick Murphy's as his entrance music. Necmettin Hoca had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Necmettin Hoca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Hoca misses.
Murphy tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hoca counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hoca swings for the body but Murphy moves out of range.
Murphy fails with the takedown.
Murphy tries to close the distance and clinch but Hoca swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Hoca. No joy for Murphy on that attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoca throws a big shot that misses.
Murphy gets a takedown into half guard.
Murphy is pressing down on Hoca's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hoca is holding on for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoca is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hoca is not content to let Murphy control the position.
Murphy is working for a submission of some sort.
Murphy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hoca doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Murphy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Murphy is looking to take a break and control but Hoca is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Murphy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hoca!

Murphy takes Hoca's back.
Hoca is trying to defend against the choke here but Murphy has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Murphy Tightens the hold and Hoca taps out furiously! Murphy displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Liam Murphy!
