The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawiwasulu swings for the body but Honkanen moves out of range.
Kawiwasulu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kawiwasulu looks to throw the jab but Honkanen is out of range.
Kawiwasulu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Honkanen throws out the jab.
It looked like Kawiwasulu was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Honkanen.
Kawiwasulu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kawiwasulu looks to score with a jab to the body but Honkanen is just out of range.

and Honkanen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kawiwasulu's guard.

Honkanen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Honkanen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Honkanen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kawiwasulu is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Honkanen, into his guard.

Kawiwasulu has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Honkanen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kawiwasulu is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Honkanen pulls down on the head and he's put Kawiwasulu to sleep! This one is all over!
