The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Lima lands.
Wilson throws a series of punches but Lima moves out of range.
Lima went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Wilson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

and Lima counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wilson tries to clinch but Lima is having none of it.

Wilson rushes Lima and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wilson tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lima throws a head punch that misses.
Lima scores with a shoulder strike.
Lima stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Wilson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lima fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tiago Lima has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Russel Wilson.
Wilson drops his hands momentarily and Lima takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wilson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lima, who protects the arm well.
Lima is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson cracks Lima with a big right hand but Lima just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Lima is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

It looks like Tiago Lima has been cut.
Wilson advances to mount.
Lima knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground.
